Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum received mixed reviews from critics upon release.
Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave the movie 3.5/5 stars, saying that "On the whole, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is sure to get the affirmation nod by its target audience -- the youth. Despite the sexual tone, adult jokes, impish humor, the movie, at no juncture, gets offensive, distasteful or objectionable. In fact, it's one big joyride from commencement to conclusion. This one is for the masses, for youngsters, for those who loved part one and enjoyed its crazy hilarity. KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM offers entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment in large doses!"Sonia Chopra of Sify gave the movie 3/5 stars, concluding that "Director Sachin Yardi tells the story in his usual, unapologetic style. One would call the film clumsy, had it not been funny. But humorous it is, even if in parts. Worth a watch, if you’re not very high-brow or prudish when it comes to humour."Independent Bollywood gave 3 out of 5 stars to the movie and quoted "Laugh out Louder"Martin D'Souza of Glamsham gave the movie 3/5 stars, commenting that "Ceetis and taalis are bound to accompany a few scenes and the first three days will tell if it has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark, which I'm afraid it might."Madhureeta Mukherjee of Times Of India gave the movie 3/5 stars, stating that "If you were sex (comedy) starved after Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, this sequel force-feeds you a double dose. This one's for teens who get a 'boner' out of bad jokes, but it may get a rise out of some adults too. Watch at your own 'risque'."
Mansha Rastogi of Now Running gave the movie 2.5/5 stars, saying that "To sum it up, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum makes for a time pass one time watch. However, if for a better second half, the film would've worked more!" Roshni Devi of Koimoi gave the movie 2.5/5 stars, concluding that "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum has some laughs, which may be enough for the producers to laugh their way to the bank."Vinayak Chakravorthy of India Today gave the movie 2.5/5 stars, stating that "Director Sachin Yardi almost deliberately plays dumb with his narrative. His effort is a randy, satirical punch on almost every trick that defines Bollywood's 100-crore club. The film makes you snigger, and then you snigger at yourself for doing as much at something so obviously silly and raunchy. You realise there is reason behind the mindless mayhem that just unfolded before your eyes as the end credits roll. It's called box-office moolah, and this film is going to make lots of it." Kunal Guha of Yahoo! gave the movie 2/5 stars, commenting that "‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’ is surely a school of sickeningly dirty jokes that will shock, disgust and scandalize but ensure that you have a good time. So don’t leave your brains (or any other organs) at home, you will need it to dig out the implied meaning in every line."Aniruddha Guha of DNA India gave the movie 2/5 stars, saying that "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum amuses you intermittently but largely leaves your brains in a tangle, and the mind gasping for breath. In other words, dimaag ki macho deta hai." Deboshree Ghosh of Bollywood Life gave the movie 2/5 stars, concluding that "We would have had thought of giving this film a thumbs-up if Tusshar Kapoor had not shown off his rear in the film, supposedly imitating John Abraham in Dostana. That simply made us pucker our lips and turn our noses up in extreme distaste. Ew!" Shomini Sen of Zee News gave the movie 2/5 stars, stating that "KSKHH is an assault to your brain to say the least. But we know you will watch it nevertheless. After all don’t we go to the movies to get entertained and not take on more stress? Go on, watch it but do carry a bottle of painkillers with you. Might come in handy later."
Anupama Chopra of Hindustan Times gave the movie 1.5/5 stars, commenting that "Writer-director Sachin Yardi is too lazy to create a plot, so the film is just a series of gags that allow him to bung in as many puerile sexual innuendos as possible. Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum becomes a drag within the first twenty minutes and then continues for another two hours or so."Rajeev Masand of CNN-IBN gave the movie 1.5/5 stars, saying that "I'm going with one-and-a-half out of five for 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum'. It's not that the humor's adult that is the issue here, it's that it doesn't make you laugh!" Mayank Shekhar of Daily Bhaskar gave the movie 1.5/5 stars, stating that "All the humour is in the lines. The dialogue writer of this film is a decent chutkula writer, suited best for stand-up comedies or hasya kavitas. You know at some point the jokes will dry up. They’ll start exhausting you with their only meaning; let alone the double meaning. The film will lose energy too, given there wasn’t much of a plot to keep it going for this long." Raja Sen of Rediff gave the movie 1.5/5 stars, stating that "Sachin Yardi's Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum is, an A-rated film that feels the need to shy away from swearwords and put big, forbidding 'Adults' stickers onto even copulating canines. The film wants to be racy, but has television-friendliness forced onto its very being: which explains actors dropping their jaws at the (suggested) mention of genitalia and constantly hiding behind clumsy innuendo." Blessy Chettiar of DNA India gave the movie 1/5 stars, commenting that "Tawdry innuendos, racial slurs, repugnant gibes at the gay community and overall cheap humour define the ‘kool’ of KSKHH. Sorry boss, we define our own cool, and KSKHH figures nowhere close." Karan Anshuman of Mumbai Mirror gave the movie 1/5 stars, saying that "There are sex comedies. Then there are bad sex comedies. Then there is just bad. And then finally – right at the bottom of this pile – there is KSKHH. It has innuendos so obvious, swearing so uninhibited, and gestures so lewd, that you can only imagine what must be going on in the writers’ minds to distill this from their imaginations."Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV gave the movie 1/5 stars, concluding that "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum strives very hard indeed to be a worthy adult comedy, a poor Indian country cousin of American Pie, but all it manages to be is a juvenile and clunky ride through unending yards of the kind of laboured gags that went out of vogue with Dada Kondke. The film is ostensibly targeted at the teen segment and it might even find some takers there. But it barely passes muster as a sex comedy. It’s crude, crass and completely clueless." Janhavi Samant of Mid-Day gave the movie 0.5/5 stars, stating that "The whole film is pretty much avoidable. Neither vulgar enough to denounce, nor gross enough to outrage, nor absurd enough to be funny, just plain indifferent and insipid." Subhash K Jha of Indicine gave the movie 0/5 stars, commenting that "So is risque sexy? Is raunchy cool? You decide. As far as I am concerned I am still too numbed by the ceaseless torrent of verbal obscenity to figure out if a barrage of dirty puns and phallic objects being stuck into every conceivable hole, strung together in a succession of gags and episodes can be called a film

The film opens in January 2004, where a household in Wasseypur is watching a daily soap. Suddenly, the TV is blown up by a gunshot. Sultan Qureshi (Pankaj Tripathi) along with his henchmen are scouring the locality, killing suspicious passerbys on the way. They finally reach a sprawling house and open fire, riddling the house with bullets. Sultan then makes a call to a number, which starts ringing. It is revealed that he's calling Faizal Khan's(Nawazuddin Siddiqui)number and on getting no response, Sultan assumes that Faizal and his whole family have been killed in the gun fire and leaves, unaware that the family actually survived the gunfire and are safe in the house. Sultan then calls JP Singh, son of Ramadhir Singh (Tigmanshu Dhulia)to inform about the hit, when he notices a police checkpost on the road. He inquires JP about this development after which JP abruptly disconnects the call, confirming suspicions that the checkpost is for eliminating Sultan. A crossfire ensues leaving Sultan hit.
As the opening credits roll, the narrator gives a whole history of Wasseypur, a city in Dhanbad predominant with Muslim inhabitants. The town is divided into 2 sections- The powerful Qureshis, butchers by profession, and the other muslims. In 1941,during british regime, Sultana Dacoit,a Qureshi, used to rob goods and precious items from the British trains coming into the town. Shahid Khan (Jaideep Ahlawat), taking advantage of the fact that nobody has seen Sultana's face, robs food grains and sells it in the town. After Sultana finds out, Shahid along with his pregnant wife and friend Farhan (Piyush Mishra) are banished from the town and they settle near dhanbad where Shahid works in the coalmine. During childbirth, his wife dies. Shahid is enraged as he wasn't with his wife because of the coalmine operator who didn't allow him to leave on time. In a fit of rage he kills him. After independence in 1947, the coalmine is bought by Ramadhir Singh from the British. He employs Shahid Khan as an enforcer in the coal mine & becomes his trusted man. However, Ramadhir eavesdrops on Shahid's & Farhan's conversation where the former has plans to rule the coal mine one day. A furious Ramadhir leaves, leaving his umbrella near the main door. Ramadhir sends Shahid to Varanasi to get some new weapons from a dealer, who eventually kills Shahid. Farhan notices Ramadhir's umbrella near the door, concluding that Ramadhir eavedropped on their conversation. He flees from the place with Shahid's son, Sardar in the nick of time as Ehsaan Qureshi (Vipin Sharma) a henchman shows up. Ehsaan lies to Ramadhir that he killed Farhan & Sardar. After hearing of his father's death, Sardar shaves his head vowing that he won't grow his hair until Ramadhir is dead.
20 years later, Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpai) along with his cousin Asghar (Jameel Khan) start a transport business ,whereas Ramadhir Singh becomes a well known politician, and singlehandedly runs the coal mafia with an iron fist. Sardar gets married to Nagma (Richa Chadda), and eventually his son Danish is born. With revenge on his mind, Sardar illegally usurps Ramadhir's land leading to their first meeting which ends in a scuffle between Sardar ,Asghar and JP. Sardar & Asghar are sent to jail for hitting JP, a politician. Ramadhir chides Ehsaan for lying to him about Sardar's death. Sardar and Asghar learn how to make bomb and escape from the jail and take shelter at an associate's place where they meet Durga (Reema Sen) a Bengali who takes a fancy to Sardar & vice versa. Sardar gets into a physical relationship with Durga, leaving Nagma and the 2 kids Danish & Faizal heartbroken.
In the 80's, Sardar becomes one of the feared men in Wasseypur, where he has to contend with Sultan & the other Qureshi's and in Dhanbad, where Ramadhir is his enemy. After a fight, Sardar leaves Nagma & goes to Durga leaving the former devastated. Faizal witnesses his mother in an amorous condition with Farhan and bolts out of the house. This incident pushes him to weed addiction and lawless activities. Sensing Sardar's increasing clout,Ramadhir employs Sultan (Sultana dacoit's nephew) as a henchman to counter Sardar, at the same time retaining his Muslim votes.
In 1990, coal mining becomes redundant and other activities like iron mongering rises as a route to making money. Sardar's son, Danish joins him in this business who in turn pleads his father to come back home. In an encounter with Sultan, Danish gets injured, an incident which leads to Sardar & Nagma reconciling. Durga doesn't approve of Sardar's proposal of living with Nagma together & tells him to leave her and her son alone. Sardar sends his second son Faizal to get some new weapons but gets caught by the police with the weapons in the train and is jailed. After sometime, Sardar renounces all lawless activities and starts a fishery business as a legitimate business. Meanwhile, Danish falls in love with Shama Parveen (Anurita Jha), who turns out to be Sultan's cousin. Eventually they marry, enraging Sultan. Faizal also is released from jail and starts a romantic relationship with Mohsina (Huma Qureshi (actress)). Faisal takes revenge from the dealer who sold him the guns by killing him, mirroring a scene earlier where the same arms dealer had killed his grandfather Shahid Khan on Ramadhir Singh's orders. After a night of merriment, Faizal inadvertently lets it slip to his friend that his father would be going out alone & unarmed the next day. While Faizal is sleeping, his friend informs Sultan about this piece of information.
In the climax, Sardar leaves home alone. After meeting Durga & giving her some money, he stops at a petrol pump to fill his car. He sees Sultan and his associates who come from behind in bikes and open fire on his car & escape. The film ends with Sardar staggering out of the car ,with multiple bullet wounds, and ultimately collapsing to his death.

Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) lives in Karol Bagh, New Delhi with his sister Sania (Asin Thottumkal). They are legally fighting for an ancestral property— land case. But the odds turn against them and they lose. Their well wisher, Shastri Chacha, advises and convinces them to migrate to his village Ranakpur where he assures Abbas that he will get him a job at his owner's place. The owner being none other than the powerful Prithviraj Raghuvanshi (Ajay Devgn). Abbas enters Ranakpur village and while saving a child trapped inside a temple, he breaks open the lock of an ancestral temple but fate plays an important twist in Abbas' life as the whole village including Prithviraj's step-brother Vikrant opposes Abbas' actions but Prithviraj arrives and handles the situation. On being asked his name, Abbas's friend comes out with a fake name, as it would create a rage if villagers came to know that the lock of a temple had been broken by a Muslim. From here starts a series of cover-ups, goof-ups and comic situations where to cover one lie, Abbas starts padding up with a bigger lie telling people that he also has a twin brother with no moustache. From here on starts the topsy-turvy journey of a single person acting as two different entities. Prithviraj is made to believe that Abbas is a gay. So he appoints Abbas as a kathak dance teacher to his sister Radhika (Prachi Desai). This makes Abbas to work as supervisor as Abishek Bachchan at morning and kathak teacher to Radhika at night as Abbas. Soon, Radhika and Abbas fall in love. In the climax, Prithviraj comes to know the truth, but he likes Abbas's character and spares them.
