Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is transferred to Kanpur where he is in charge of the local police station. A rich schoolboy is kidnapped by thugs and Chulbul Pandey rescues him from a warehouse after beating up the gang of kidnappers. However, staying true to his reputation, Chulbul takes the ransom money for himself.

Somewhere in Kanpur, an assassin hired by Bachcha Bhaiya (Prakash Raj) murders a witness who was about to testify against him. Chulbul tracks the assassin down and kills him in a brawl at a local restaurant. Bachcha decides to ignore the threat posed by Pandey because he is trying to get elected into the local government. After several public altercations, Bachcha's brother convinces him to get rid of Pandey. Bachcha's brother threatens Chulbul's stepfather and says if Chulbul does not stop interfering with Bachcha's criminal activities, he will kill his whole family.

Bachcha's brother then harasses a local girl who is about to get married. He says that he will not allow her to get married to anyone other than him. Chulbul Pandey stops Bachcha's brother from abducting the bride during her wedding and in the process kills him by breaking his neck. At this point, Bachcha Bhaiya promises to avenge the death of his brother.

Chulbul then finds out that his wife Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha) is pregnant. Everyone advises him to leave Baccha alone and think about his family. Chulbul gets life insurance and thinks about cutting down on his unique way of policing. However, Bachcha cannot forgive Pandey for killing his brother and says he will wait till he is elected to take care of him.

Bachcha Bhaiya tracks down Makkhi and Rajjo when they are visiting a Hindu temple. Bachcha throws Rajjo off the stairs which causes her to have a miscarriage. Makkhi is shot in the shoulder trying to save Rajjo but fails. Chulbul and Rajjo lose their child and this causes Chulbul to go after Bachcha Bhaiya. Chulbul attacks Bachcha Bhaiya and his thugs on his own, killing half of them in the process. Chulbul then beats Bachcha Bhaiya and the police arrives. The police helps him kill Bachcha Bhaiya in a fake encounter. A year later Rajjo gives birth to a child after getting pregnant again.

Born to an owner of a marriage bureau Champak Lal (Manoj Joshi), Mansukh (Himesh Reshammiya) has been a complete failure ever since he has grown up and tried to help his father in their family business. All the alliances he had tried to get done have resulted in separation even before the marriage took place. To prove his worth to his father, he takes up an unusual challenge of getting an underworld don Tatya Tukaram Tendulkar's (Mithun Chakraborty), spoilt brat sister Indu (Asin Thottumkal) getting married to a cop called Bahattar Singh (Akshay Kumar) aka Khiladi 786 in Punjab. To add more to his problems, he convinces Tatya to pretend to be a cop but little did the over enthusiast know that Bahattar Singh, his father Sattar Singh (Raj Babbar) and his uncle Ikhattar Singh (Mukesh Rishi) were not cops but a family of conmen. The story takes a shape as the two hardcore families of two different states pretend to be policemen in front of each other and the beans from each side can be spilled anytime which can be life threatening for Mansukh. And to make the situation worse, it turns out that Indu has a boyfriend, Azad (Rahul Singh), who is a criminal locked up in jail. When Bahattar finds that out, he helps Azad escape from jail to make Indu happy, the girl who he loves. But no sooner does Indu realize that she truly loves Bahattar, and decides to marry him. To take revenge, Azad kidnaps Indu and the Pandit from the Wedding ceremony. Bahattar and Tatya fight their way through the goons and eventually Bahattar and Indu get married.

Talaash: The Answer Lies Within is a 2012 Indian neo-noir crime mystery film directed by Reema Kagti. The project is jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions, and stars Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Raj Kumar Yadav in pivotal roles. The music and background score is done by Ram Sampath and lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar.[4] Talaash released on November 30, 2012[5]The film opened with extremely positive response though being released on a working friday.

Talaash follows inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Aamir Khan), who is tackling the accidental death of a film star Armaan Kapoor (Vivan Bhatena). As Shekhawat unfolds the strange case, he gets entangled in a drama that has more to it than meets the eye. Meanwhile, his personal life suffers as he reels under the repercussions of an almost-broken marriage with Roshni (Rani Mukerji), and comes face-to-face with his suppressed grief of losing his only child.
While trying to investigate the case, Shekhawat meets a sex worker Rosie (Kareena Kapoor), who helps him fight his inner demons and also helps him with his enquiry about the accident. How Shekhawat solves the case and revives his relationship with his wife forms the crux of the story.

Jassi Randhawa,(Ajay Devgn) ,a Londoner who must visit his dead father's hometown in Punjab to inherit ancestral property,falls in love-at-first-sight, in a train with Sukhmeet (Sonakshi Sinha), call her Sukh please (she's quite a 'peace' of work); and ends up as a guest in her mad-house full of comical sardaars - The Sandhus. There's the head-of-the-house Billu paaji (Sanjay Dutt), bros Tony (Mukul Dev) and Tito (Vindoo Dara Singh), who've sworn to never have ice-cream and cold-drinks (rum-on-the-rocks is all he's ever had, poor liver, sigh!) until they avenge their father's death; and a kid sardaar who talks about 'pegs' (Patiala types).
Adding solid femme power to this macho sardaar story is Pammi (Juhi Chawla, delightful) Billu's mooh-boli-biwi, Bebe (Tanuja) suffering from part-time memory lapses; and lastly Rajpreet the loved buffalo (who mooed this cheez?) The problem? The Sandhus have been vengefully thirsting for Jassi's head, but can't lay a sword on him because he's their (unwanted) house-guest (mehmaan equals bhagwan, remember?), he even feigns 'paira-te-laces' (paralyses) to stay 'home' to save his life.
